Karl Schmid, The Artist

Homage Karl Schmid is a tribute to the life and work of Swiss artist Karl Schmid (1914–1998).

Created in collaboration with the Fondazione Karl Schmid and Oliver Ike, the watch features a dial inspired by Schmid's 1988 Spirituelles Werk. The challenge was not simply to reproduce a work of art, but to transform it into a functional timepiece while preserving its character and depth.

Limited to just 88 individually numbered pieces worldwide, this Swiss Made edition brings together contemporary watchmaking and modern art in a way that is both wearable and timeless.

Each watch carries its unique edition number engraved on the specially designed caseback featuring the Karl Schmid symbol. The same number is repeated on the presentation box, creating a direct connection between the watch and its collector.
